At Erwin Health Care, we believe in celebrating the dedication and hard work of our skilled nursing staff who play an indispensable role in providing excellent care to our residents. This National Skilled Nursing Care Week, we decided to infuse a spirit of fun and festivity into our celebrations. From themed parties to delicious treats and special events, it’s been a week filled with laughter, camaraderie, and recognition.
1920s Themed Party
We kicked off the week with a blast from the past with a roaring 1920s themed party. Staff and residents alike donned their best flapper dresses, fedoras, and suspenders as we transported ourselves back to the jazz age. The halls were alive with the sound of music, laughter, and the clinking of glasses as everyone came together to celebrate in style.
Tacos and Tie Dye
Who doesn’t love tacos? We indulged in a delicious taco fiesta where everyone could customize their tacos with an array of tasty toppings. But the fun didn’t stop there! It was a feast for both the senses and the soul, as we bonded over good food and colorful creations.
Beach and Luau Day
As the week progressed, we decided to bring a taste of the tropics to Erwin Health Care with a beach and luau day extravaganza. Complete with Hawaiian shirts, leis, and grass skirts, it was a day filled with sunshine, sand, and smiles. And what’s a luau without refreshing treats? We were delighted to welcome a Kona Ice truck, serving up icy delights to beat the heat and spread joy throughout the community.
To our skilled nurses: thank you for your unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in caring for our residents. You are truly the heart of our community, and we are grateful for you each and every day.
